Avoiding Insolvency, Developing Resilience and Business Growth

Jul 28, 2020

Over the past 4 months the Risk Dashboard has been supporting Accountancy firms, Chambers of Commerce and Growth Hubs (and SME’s), who have been working tirelessly to help save their clients and members respectively through the COVID-19 crisis.

We developed a FREE to deploy platform, based on our unique advisory and compliance software for SME’s, focusing on key risk strategies, such as;

        1. Finance and operating costs
        2. Outsourced Supplier arrangements
        3. Office and Infrastructure costs
        4. Transport and logistics control
        5. Returning to work – safely!
        6. Business recovery

Today, we are releasing our new FREE to deploy edition which will be entitled – ‘ Survival, Resilience and Growth’

As most businesses have successfully moved through their initial assessment and protection phase and their response to recent events, the Risk Dashboard is now turning its focus to the future.

There will be 4 modules for SME’s, to allow them to look forward to the next 3-12 months, developing enhanced strategies that will – we hope – prevent any further businesses becoming insolvent.

We are looking to secure jobs, and ultimately protecting the already vulnerable UK economy and taxpayer from further costs.

We are helping SME’s to develop resilience and growth, to ensure survival.

We have created even more thought provoking content, as well as guidance through our ‘task management’ application, to apply; resilience, best practice and governance.

These modules will provide the much needed and necessary support to consider, questions such as;

      • Have you considered the steps that you need to take in order to manage cashflow over the next 12 months?
          • Repaying monies borrowed from the Government
          • Monies borrowed from existing lenders
          • Impact on borrowing (and/or downturn in EBIT(DA) on deductibility of interest payments
          • Have you considered how you will continue to operate if your suppliers or contractors are forced into another lockdown?
      • Have you undertaken a risk assessment for your premises, post COVID-19, so that you can demonstrate you are COVID-19 secure
          • Have you published your Government COVID-19 secure certificate?
      • Do you have a policy and procedure if someone develops COVID-19 symptoms at work?

Accountants and Chamber business advisers are turning to risk management and mitigation to enhance relationships and to offer a service differentiator – which is leading to enhanced client/member engagement.

Growth Hubs are now developing programmes based on real-time data, providing support on what the SME community need, delivering against taxpayer funded support – knowledge is POWER…

It’s becoming clear that business resilience and the ability to remain flexible, utilising new technologies such as the Risk Dashboard, will undoubtedly result in opportunities to develop resilience and growth for some companies.

SME’s need to guard against complacency and be ready to take swift decisive action to reshape their business to face a very different future, and the Risk Dashboard is playing its part in identifying risks whilst creating futures.

“Our mission throughout this crisis is to empower everyone within your organisation with clear and accurate data that’s easy to understand. This allows you to make informed decisions and avoid financial and operational liability.”

We are here to help businesses to ‘survive, develop resilience and grow’.
