We know that there is a lot of accounting software on the market right now, and that might mean you’ve planned in hours of research to find the best fit for you. Whilst that’s great, and exactly what we’d recommend before you invest, we thought it would be useful for you if we created our own (non-biased, of course!) guide to assist with your decision.
1. Choose accounting software with a Subscription
How do you know you’re going to like something before you actually try it? The answer is, you don’t. That means if you’re going to pay an annual fee for accounting software, you’d be taking a gamble.
Risk is in our name, and we 100% approve of taking a risk when it’s been properly calculated and when all options have been considered! But, for something as important as your livelihood, is it worth parting with a large amount of money, and risking wasting it should you not get on with the accounting software you’ve just purchased? We don’t think so.
This is one of the reasons we think a subscription model is a much better solution. It allows you to pay an ongoing monthly fee, allowing you to get used the product without parting with a large chunk of your hard-earned cash in one go.
We have 3 different pricing options tailored to suit SME’s, Corporate or Enterprise. We’ve called these Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3, and clearly listed what is included in each price plan so you can choose the level that fits your business.
2. Integration
This is something we mention again and again – accountants do not simply deal with the finances of a business. This is why the Risk Dashboard connects different information from across different parts of an organisation, helping you to understand how risk levels change as the business evolves.
We have an extensive list of modules, allowing you to assess everything from Human Resources to Health and Safety to Physical Security to Sales and Marketing – all in one place. A business is an ever-changing entity that needs to be managed, and our software enables you to do just that.
3. Easy to use
Usability is something we worked hard to perfect, from the language we use, to the way we display your data to you, to how we organise our learning resources. There’s no point in developing something that’s not practical when we want it to save you time and offer insights that can assist your decision making – not make it harder!
It’s for this reason we have ensured that the Risk Dashboard is mobile friendly too. This enables you to stay on top of everything even when you’re on the go. All you need to do is log in to your mobile phone or tablet and you’ll have everything there in a mobile-friendly interface. Simple.
